-The Seaside golenrod belongs to the Kingdom Plantae and the Phylum Porifera.
-The Seaside Goldenrod can be found in coastal ares. To be specific, it is located in Leeside of primary and secondary coastal dunes, and on fringes of salt marshes.
-This plant is tolerant of saline conditions and, because of it's fibrous roots, is an effective dune and stabilizer.
-The range that they live in is from the Gulf St. Lawerence to Florida, west along the Gulf coast fo Texas.
-This plant benefits nature by attracting bees and butterflies. They also feed insects such as the goldfich and pine siskin with their flowering seeds.
- This plant can grow up to 2-8' (0.6-2.4m) in height and it's leaves can grow up to o4-15" (10-40 cm) long.
-This plant prefers poor, acidic soils and will grow in dry to moist sites with average drainage. It also prefers part to full sunlight.
