-The Sea Rocket is part of the family Cruciferae. The Sea Rocket is located on sandy beaches ranging from S. Labrador to Florida.- The stems and leaves are fleshy in order to retain water under saline conditions.
-It is one of few plants sufficiently salt tolerant to live on open beaches unprotected by barrier dunes.
- The flowers are usually pale blue and it produces fleshy green seed pods developing into rocket shaped capsules.
