Anolis carolinensis

-The Green Anole belongs to the Kingdom Animalia and Phylum Chorodata.
-They inhabitat mangroves and Gulf Shores.
-They range form south Virginia to the Florida Keys.
-They feed on small insects and spiders.
-They reproduce from late March to early Ocotber.
-The female lay one single white egg and bury it in loose, moist leaf litter.
-The young hatch after five to seven weeks.
-The leave till they get eaten by a cat or die!
-Their color varies depending on their mood, temprature, humidity, and their health.
-The males are distinguished from females because males have a pink dewlap, a flap of skin that hangs in an arc below their neck.
Their economic importance is that they provide business for pet stores as they are common pets in the states that they are found in.
-Because they are territoriality they react and can be agressive toward their own mirror image.
